RECIPE FOR VEG CHEESE BURGER

Prepare the Patty:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, paneer/tofu, breadcrumbs, and spices (ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, garam masala, turmeric, and salt).
  • Mix well to form a dough-like consistency. Divide into equal portions and shape into round patties.
  • Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties until golden brown on both sides. Remove and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

Toast the Buns:

  1. Slice the burger buns in half.
  2. Lightly butter the inner sides and toast them on a pan until golden.

Assemble the Burger:

  1. Spread mayonnaise or burger sauce on the bottom half of the bun.
  2. Place a lettuce leaf, followed by the fried patty.
  3. Add a slice of cheese on top of the patty.
  4. Layer with tomato, onion, and cucumber slices.
  5. Drizzle tomato ketchup or mustard sauce over the veggies.
  6. Cover with the top half of the bun.
  7. Serve:

Serve your Veg Cheese Burger warm with a side of fries or a refreshing salad.
