Prepare the Patty:
- In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, paneer/tofu, breadcrumbs, and spices (ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, garam masala, turmeric, and salt).
- Mix well to form a dough-like consistency. Divide into equal portions and shape into round patties.
- Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the patties until golden brown on both sides. Remove and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
Toast the Buns:
- Slice the burger buns in half.
- Lightly butter the inner sides and toast them on a pan until golden.
Assemble the Burger:
- Spread mayonnaise or burger sauce on the bottom half of the bun.
- Place a lettuce leaf, followed by the fried patty.
- Add a slice of cheese on top of the patty.
- Layer with tomato, onion, and cucumber slices.
- Drizzle tomato ketchup or mustard sauce over the veggies.
- Cover with the top half of the bun.
